Hire our rollerblades...

...for a couple of hours or for a full day. Skate along the river, past the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and onto South Bank or even over the Goodwill Bridge / QUT!

As Brisbane’s second largest supplier of rollerblades we offer a great range of men’s and women’s skate sizes!

Skate Hire includes all equipment – this includes a helmet, K2 rollerblades (from SkateBiz) and protective elbow, knee and wrist pads. Participants must wear and use the safety equipment provided by Riverlife.

Learn to Skate Classes (every Sunday – 10.30 am to 12.30)

Learn the basics of inline skating in a fun, crash-friendly environment – without leaving Brisbane’s inner-city!

Participants will learn:

• the correct rollerblading posture and balance,
• how to start, stop, turn
• and fall safely.

Instructors will tailor their lesson to the skill level of the participants in the group. Groups will remain at Riverlife for the entire session and will get the opportunity of putting their skills into practice and have a go at rollerblading along the Brisbane River to South Bank or even over the Goodwill Bridge / QUT – all on your own!

No experience required

Riverlife rollerblading sessions are conducted by qualified and experienced instructors.

No experience is necessary as each session includes instruction, a safety briefing and equipment check. Participants must wear and use the safety equipment provided by Riverlife. Safety equipment includes a helmet, K2 rollerblades (from SkateBiz) and protective elbow, knee and wrist pads.
